Porzioni: 1 8x8 cm pan
  • 600 g freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 300 g sugar
  • 30 g pectin powder
  • spices such as cinnamon or cloves, if you like
  1. Combine orange juice and pectin in a pot, leaving enough room for the liquid to boil.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, then add the sugar and return to a boil while stirring.
  3. Stir in spices if you want to use them.
  4. Pour the liquid into a pan covered in waxed paper or in candy molds, and let set for a couple of hours or overnight.
  5. Remove the jelly from molds or turn out of pan and cut, while sprinkling generously with sugar.
