Tempo totale:
Porzioni: 5 biscotti
  • 1 banana
  • 50 g of rolled oats (approximately)
  • extra ingredients to taste: chocolate chips, dried cranberries, pine nuts, walnuts, raisins, vanilla extract etc.
  1. With a potato masher or a fork, crush the banana until you obtain a puree that is not too thin: keep it chuncky. Mix the rolled oats with the banana, keeping in mind that the amount may vary obviously depending on the size of the banana, but you must obtain a mixture that is not too moist.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet covered with baking paper and pour the dough by the spoonful, pressing it slightly to give the cookies the classic round shape. These amounts yielded five cookies for me, of about 6 cm diameter.
  3. Add any extra ingredients you might like (chocolate chips, dried cranberries, pine nuts, walnuts, raisins, etc.) on top of the cookies with light pressure, then transfer the baking sheet to the freezer for 5/10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180°, then put the baking sheet with the cookies in the oven.
  5. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes, then take them out and gently remove them from the baking paper with the help of a spatula.
  6. Eat your delicious, healthy two ingredient cookies right away, or keep them in a metal tin and quickly warm them up in the oven or toaster before serving.
